Hiking the Appalachian Trail

There are quite a few things on my "bucket" list but here are at least three:
Hobo a train
Work at an archeological dig
Hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine

May 21, 2011 - Riggs Anniversary Trip
Tami snapped this picture just as I finished hiking the Appalachian Trail.  It was a rough but I persevered and toughed it out and made it all the way!   Actually I walked about 10' inside this entrance, turned around and walked back.  You can tell by my figure I haven't done THAT much hiking!....but....Someday.....

This is at the trailhead on US Highway 2, between Shelburne and Gorham, NH
