Tami and I went to a wedding in Jonesboro, IL and on the way back we picked up a few ears of corn...400 to be exact! 200 for me and 200 for my brother Ralph. Bought it at Diebold Produce just north of Sikeston. We may have an ox in the ditch tomorrow afternoon!!!
You are not allowed to haul the ox in the back of the car and dump him in the ditch bro. lol

The ox wouldn't fit so we just bought "roastneers" feed him! After church this morning we shucked and de-silked 200 ears, blanched them and cut the corn off the cob. Made about 6½ gallons of corn to put in the freezer! Ralph says he's gonna get a bumper sticker that says "Keep on Shuckin!" Come on by the house and we'll have bacon and tomato sandwiches with fried squash, cucumbers, green beans with new potatoes and fresh corn on the cob!!!
